Lip filler treatments continue to be very popular although there is a sea change with requests for more natural-looking results which is very refreshing. Although this course is at the Introductory level, we would strongly recommend completion and subsequent treatment experience following our Introductory Course to Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Fillers.
As with all our injectable courses, this is available to Doctors, Nurses and Dentists only with current professional body registration. (GMC, NMC or BDC ). Our CPD registration provides you with confidence in the standard of course material and how your training experience is delivered. Courses are organised with a maximum of 4 delegates (also on a 1:1 basis with small additional cost) to provide an elevated experience, essential information and a bias towards all-important hands-on injecting experience. Many other training courses do not provide you with such opportunity only to direct you to a further course to ‘consolidate’ your injecting techniques.
What does the Lip Augmentation training course cover?
- Anatomy & Physiology of the perioral area and lip
- Rheology of selected dermal fillers for lip augmentation
- Lip volume (body), support and contour (vermillion border)
- Injecting techniques of dermal filler in Perioral lines
- Prevention and Management of complications
- Legality and documentation
- Lip beautification
- Consultation
- Lip ratios
- Aftercare
Delegates attaining the required level of practice will receive a CPD validated and Hamilton Fraser recognised certificate at the end of the course. These delegates are invited to join an online closed Facebook group for peer support and knowledge sharing. All our courses include practical hands-on experiential learning under the direct supervision of our lead trainer, Rosey Drewitt-Staples.
